Dr. Karanveer Kamra

Dr. Karanveer Kamra received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Waterloo in 2019 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from York University. During his clinical training he completed an ocular disease and therapeutics clerkship alongside ophthalmologists, co-managing routine and emergency cases at the Great Lakes Eye Centre and Brantford General Hospital.

Dr. Kamra's approach to care is centred on patient education — he enjoys partnering with his patients, helping them understand their eye health, and giving them the knowledge and support they need to reach their visual goals. He has a special interest in ocular disease and myopia control, and has served as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor with the University of Waterloo School of Optometry from 2019 to 2026, where he enjoys mentoring the next generation of optometrists.

Dr. Kamra is a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario and the Ontario Association of Optometrists. He recently moved to Ottawa with his wife and son and is accepting new patients. Outside the clinic, he enjoys outdoor photography, travel, and — by his own admission — never saying no to pizza.
