Dr. Joelle Zagury is originally from Montreal and joined the team in 2008 after moving to Ottawa. She completed her education at the University of Waterloo, first in Biomedical Sciences and then in Optometry, and is a former co-president of the Ottawa Society of Optometrists (2008–2011).
Dr. Zagury enjoys getting to know her patients and their families, and building the kind of long-term relationships that span generations. She has advanced training in dry eye procedures, specialty contact lenses, and myopia control.
A member in good standing of the College of Optometrists of Ontario and the provincial and national associations, Dr. Zagury spends her time outside the clinic going to concerts with her husband and children, working out at the gym, and travelling.
