Dr. Jamie Lau

Originally from Toronto, Dr. Jamie Lau earned her Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston in 2011. She completed internships at the Veterans Affairs hospitals in Manchester and Boston, then trained at the nationally renowned Vision Institute of Canada before settling in Ottawa. She brings more than 15 years of experience to her practice.

Committed to preserving long-term sight, Dr. Lau provides personalized, preventative vision care tailored to the distinct needs of every patient. She enjoys building genuine relationships with the people in her chair and finding solutions that enhance their overall quality of life.

Outside of practice, Dr. Lau stays active with her family, remains involved in the local community, and is always listening to her favourite podcasts and music.
