Dr. Victoria Cao is an Ottawa-born optometrist thrilled to be practising in her hometown. She earned an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from the University of Ottawa (2022) and her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Waterloo (2026), where she was recognized with the National Vision Scholarship, the J. Pat Cummings Scholarship, and the AAOF Award of Excellence in Contact Lens Patient Care.
Dr. Cao is passionate about full-scope care for patients of all ages and works to create a welcoming environment where everyone feels genuinely cared for. During her training she completed clinical rotations in Dauphin, Manitoba and Calgary, Alberta, gaining experience in ocular disease, contact lenses, and dry eye. A highlight of her education was volunteering with Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) in the Philippines, reinforcing her commitment to compassionate, accessible care. She offers comprehensive eye exams in English, Vietnamese, and basic French.
Dr. Cao is a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario, the Canadian Association of Optometrists, the Ontario Association of Optometrists, and the Ottawa Society of Optometrists. Outside the clinic, she enjoys travelling, staying active outdoors, and time with family and friends.
