We are so proud to share that we will be donating $4036 from our Merivale Vision Care clinic and $804 from our Wellington Vision Care clinic to Optometry Giving Sight.

Did you know that on our planet over one billion people cannot see well, simply because they do not have access to glasses and other eye care services? There are over 43 million people in the world who are blind, and over 295 million people who have moderate or severe visual impairment.

We celebrated World Sight Day for the whole month of October to bring these issues to light and help close the gap between access to eye care and the best eyesight possible, for everyone everywhere. We have donated $4 from every eye exam for the entire month of October to Optometry Giving Sight.

We are so proud to share that we will be donating $4036 from our Merivale Vision Care clinic and $804 from our Wellington Vision Care clinic to Optometry Giving Sight. These funds will help to make life-changing eye care accessible to those who need it.

What can you do to take the best care of your eyes? Schedule a visit with your Ottawa Doctor of Optometry to ensure that your eye health is the best it can be. Our eye exams also include retinal scans, visual fields, and Opto-Map imaging for an extensive look at the inside of your eye. We can also help your eyes with visits to our specialty Dry Eye Clinic.
