During 2023, Merivale Vision Care (MVC), Wellington Vision Care (WVC), and Ottawa Vision Therapy (OVT) continued our mission of working hard to grow, learn, and give back as much as we could to our community.

Over the past year we celebrated Heart Month in February to support The Heart Institute. We celebrated International Women’s Day in March in support of Zonta International. In April we partnered with the Canadian Cancer Society in support of their Daffodil Campaign.

During the back-to-school period we donated 350 backpacks filled with school supplies to local youth in need via the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa. We celebrated World Sight Day with Optometry Giving Sight. We gave back to Cystic Fibrosis Ottawa and ALS Research.

Merivale Vision Care donated $8928 in support of the Ottawa Food Bank, and Wellington Vision Care donated $1580 to the Parkdale Food Center.

Thank you all for being part of the MVC, WVC, and OVT family. We truly would not be here without the support from you and your families. Our greatest passion as eye care professionals is to deliver excellent vision for life’s precious moments, and our team is so grateful for all of you.
