Here at Merivale Vision Care supporting and honouring women from all walks of life is of massive importance to us, and we are so proud to share that we will be supporting Dress for Success Ottawa for the whole month of May in honour of Mother’s Day.

When you visit us, please bring your gently used (but in very good condition) professional women’s clothing that you’re no longer wearing. We will send the clothing items to Dress for Success Ottawa and they will help outfit women who are working to improve their lives and obtain meaningful employment.  Why not have a closet clear-out, and have your pre-loved workwear and accessories ready to go for when you come in to see us for your eye exam, contact lenses, and glasses?

Dress for Success Ottawa is an organization that works to empower women and help them to achieve economic independence by providing professional attire, development tools and a support network. Dress for Success Ottawa hopes that all women they help ultimately end up thriving. Since they opened their doors in January of 2011, Dress for Success Ottawa has supported several thousand local women and helped them to realize they are empowered and valuable members of the community with so much to offer potential employers.
