Our optical boutique is simply buzzing with newness right now! We are so pleased to share that we have expanded our gorgeous collection of Stella McCartney eyeglasses and sunglasses frames. They are super-fresh for spring but timeless enough to last the test of time.

The Stella McCartney eyewear collection aligns with a modern, feminine, and confident aesthetic. The collection is composed of an extremely curated colour palette including black, tortoiseshell, blue, crystal pink and cognac. The frames are adorned with bold, gold hardware details and a modern dot-text logo to mark their signature style. Stella herself describes optical as both “a necessity and a statement,” which couldn’t be more true.

Stella McCartney frames are made with biobased materials, to increase the sustainability and environmentally friendly nature of the brand. The collection is made using bio-acetate composed of over 50% natural sources, including renewable and biodegradable cellulose with natural plasticizers. Cellulose is the most common organic compound found on Earth and the natural plasticizers are derived from citric acid making for a more planet-friendly option long term.

The optical collection is modern and confident all while classic and timeless. In the eyeglasses range the styles lean a little more masculine but are counter-balanced with feminine details like curved gold hardware and softer colours. The frames are solidly bio-acetate, so no metal mountings with nose pads here. We’re sure you’ll find these eyeglasses frames incredibly comfortable.

The sunglass collection is quite simply stunning. The frames make a bold statement with strong shapes and uniquely curved and bevelled fronts, all the while being quite wearable and timeless in nature. When designing the sun collection, Stella herself felt that it was incredibly important that sunglasses be timeless in style so they can move with the person wearing them over many years.
